The Ballet Nocturne Summer Intensive is a two week long intensive that runs from 10 AM to 4 PM on Monday through Friday.

Eligibility

Open to teens and adults (13+)

Must be at an intermediate/advanced level with 5+ years of ballet experience

Dancers may register for the full intensive or for just one week. Please note that there will be a showcase on Friday, June 27th at 3:00 PM for dancers registered for the full intensive or the second week.

Dancers 18+ may drop-in to classes for a $25 drop-in fee.

Intensive Etiquette:
-
Dancers should arrive early to each class. Classes will begin promptly at their start time and any late students may be asked to sit out at instructor discretion.

Dancers should address teachers with respect, which includes raising hands to ask questions, keeping questions relevant/saving specific questions until the end of class, and thanking teachers with a bow, curtsey, and/or handshake at the end of each class.

There should be no talking during class unless a teacher has called on a student or unless the class or lecture is discussion based.

Dancers should practice corrections when given and mark combinations as they are given.

Dress Code: Long hair must be pulled back in a bun with bangs and "whispies" pinned and/or sprayed back. Bras should be discrete and match the color of the leotard. Clothing options:

Solid colored leotard with skin tone, black, or pink tights with matching ballet shoes and ballet skirt if desired.

Black or white solid colored shirt with black or white solid colored leggings, fitted joggers, or masculine ballet tights with matching socks and ballet shoes or skin tone ballet shoes with no socks.
